»rank: 183
Chroniques et points de vue:From Amazon.co.uk:From the moment that Prince Eric's ship emerged from the fog in the opening credits of The Little Mermaid in 1989 it was apparent that Disney had somehow, suddenly recaptured a 'magic' that had been dormant for 30 years. ln the tale of a headstrong young mermaid who yearns to 'spend a day, warm on the sand', Ariel trades her voice to Ursula, the Sea Witch (classically voiced by Pat Carroll), for a pair of legs. Thumbelina (Widescreen/Full Screen)
»rank: 5474
Chroniques et points de vue:From :Ranking just behind the best of animator Don Bluth's films (Anastasia and The Secret of NlMH), Thumbelina is a bubble-light version of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. The finger-sized heroine goes about the old-fashioned trials of trying to find a good man, but the film is clever enough to make it endearing for the 3-6 set and more than passable for adult viewers. Barry Manilow provides much of the song score, which helps immensely. The ballad 'Let Me Be Your Wings' is as good as Disney's best. ...

Mickey Mouse: Mickeys Magical Christmas
»rank: 19556
Chroniques et points de vue:From :Though promoted as a 'full length holiday movie,' this is more of a TV Christmas special spinoff from Disney's new series, House of Mouse. The premise is something like an animated Muppet Show: Mickey, Goofy, and Donald run a nightclub for an audience of Disney characters, with plenty of songs, skits, and cartoons. There's not much story to this holiday special--Mickey whips up an impromptu party for stranded guests and instills a 'Humbug'-quacking Donald with the holiday spirit--but it's full of sight gags and comic bits with ...
